Trump It Blackjack
The Russians certainly don’t seem too keen on America’s Colonel in Chief, and Fugaso, based in the old Soviet Union takes aim at him with their entertaining Trump It Blackjack. It’s a classic card game with a new twist, where some of the playing cards have familiar faces on them, and you perhaps won’t be surprised to see who’s been chosen as the Joker of the pack.
Although the Fugaso website doesn’t tell us much about the company, we can see that their games are certified as being fair, they are all mobile optimised and available in multiple languages, including English. Quite how popular this game will be in the USA, we’re not sure, but with Trump being such a divisive character, it’s certainly going to appeal to lots of players across the world. Fugaso stands for Future Gaming Solutions, and the Fugaso casino games range mainly consists of slots, although a selection of table and card games is also available.
Trump It Blackjack comes in both single-deck and a six-deck version, but we’ll concentrate on the single-deck game, as it’s the one where savvy gamblers can reduce the house edge down to around 1%, for one of the best return to player percentages of any casino game.
Playing Trump It Blackjack
On the face of it, this is a standard online casino Blackjack game, where the only special difference is in the design. Behind the table is an image of the Stars and Stripes lying on an old table, but the obvious American reference is the actual game table itself, which is completely taken over by the American flag. It can be a bit distracting and while we fully understand the reasons for designing the game this way, it can make it a little harder at first to see what’s going on.
The playing cards have another American flag on the back, and the chips have been given a starry and stripey makeover to go with the whole theme. There’s various cartoon images of Presidents past and present, along with presidential wannabes, and First Ladies, which add a humorous touch to proceedings, and Donald Trump in a Jesters’ hat is a fun way to present him. Animations are as smooth as you can expect, and the sharpness of the graphics is certainly up to the high standards that punters expect these days.
Chip values are 0.25, 1,2, 5, 10, or 20 coins, with 20.00 being the maximum permitted stake, so high rollers may want to look elsewhere if they are looking for huge payouts.
Standard Betting Options
A click is all that’s needed to place your bets and then it’s time to get the dealers’ cards on the table. Standard Blackjack rules apply, with the dealer hitting on a soft 17, and natural Blackjack pays at 3 to 2. There’s the options to Hit or Stand, or if the cards are the of the same value, you can Split them and play 2 hands. Insurance is offered if the dealer is showing an Ace, with an extra wager equal to 50% of you stake being made, which you win back at 2-1 odds if the dealer then gets a hand of 21, or Blackjack.
An interesting addition is the optional gamble game which will be offered after every winning hand. Click this button and you will see a face-down playing card that’s flashing between red and black. If you think the card will be from a red suit, you click the red section next to it, and conversely, if you think it’s going to be black, click the black button.
To help you out, the previous 5 results are shown, although don’t be fooled into thinking it’s much of an indication, as the result is 50/50 for each turn. If you make a correct pick, the win is doubled, and you can either collect it, or try to double it again, until the gamble high limit is reached.
Our View of Trump It Blackjack
This is a nice game to accompany the Trump It video slot and features the same cartoon style that has made the slot machine so popular. We like the pictures of familiar faces, such as Obama, Hilary Clinton, Melina Trump (we think), and of course, the Joker of the pack, Donald himself.
There’s going to Trump supporters who will get offended by this game, but most players, especially outside the USA, will enjoy it for the light-hearted look at American politics. But apart from the design, it’s a standard Blackjack game, in single and 6-deck versions.
High-quality animations and style come as standard, although the gamble feature is a nice, if hardly unique touch, that can turn a modest win into a substantial prize if you are fortunate enough to correctly pick the card colour several times over.
